The definition of extravagant eyewear are the glasses by A-morir, the ‘luxury artisanal eyewear line’ launched in 2008. The designs are not only highly sought after by celebrities, but have also become popular in the fashion world.
The designer, Kerin Rose Weinberg, has taken inspiration from her childhood classical music studies, and combined it with her love of rock and roll. The result is a bold, extravagant eyewear collection, where each individual piece is a work of art in itself.
A-morir designs have been commissioned by some of the biggest artists in the pop-industry, such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Katy Perry, and have also been worn by a number of newer artists such as Lana Del Rey and Iggy Azalea. The designs are embellished by hand, using a number of materials. These include Swarovski Elements crystals, neon pearls, metallic aluminium chains, lace, and even feathers. Have a look at the incredible collection on the A-morir website.
