    Dior sunglasses: luxury and exclusive design

    Introducing some authentic vintage models from the Blickers online shop.

    The Christian Dior brand is considered one of the biggest names in fashion, and is on a par with other famous names such as Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci and Prada, as well as many more. Founded in 1946, the year after the end of World War Two, Christian Dior, a French fashion designer, made special use of the extra fabric available since the rationing of fabric for clothes during the war. The results were voluptuous clothes designs that accentuated women's curves, revolutionizing styles and re-establishing Paris as the center of the fashion world.

    By the 1950s the House of Dior was a fashion empire, which also began to include perfumes, shoes, and many other accessories, including Dior sunglasses. The Dior brand is synonymous with haute couture fashion, luxury, and exclusive design, and Dior sunglasses are everything that one would expect from such a brand.     Some of the vintage Dior sunglasses models from the 70s and 80s are particularly interesting. The Blickers online shop has two distinct models that are very different in style - one aviator shaped and one that is oversized and angular. These authentic vintage models are a perfect way of wearing something truly unique, and will give your outfit a luxurious vintage look and an exclusive edge.

    The first model of Dior sunglasses is perhaps the most unusual in terms of deviating from what is commonly considered to be the definitive oversized and angular Dior style. This model has a single 'shield' lense that is secured onto the frame by gold plated attachments.
