    Origineyes: Exotic wood eyewear

    ORIGINeyes is a new French brand of wood eyewear. Despite only weighing 20 grams, they are made with wood from Indonesia and seek eco-sustainability in all materials

    Recognizing the growing importance of eco-sustainable production to protect the environment, ORIGINeyes emerged with the idea of offering the most eco-friendly wood eyewear possible.

    After several years spent on the research and development of wood eyewear, ORIGINeyes was launched in 2012. The wood used in this case is exotic wood from Indonesia, and it has the advantage of being very light (only 20 grams on average!) while also being very strong and flexible. Furthermore, ORIGINeyes is also offering its first range of buffalo horn eyewear, very smart and seeking maximum comfort.

    It was at SILMO 2012, in Paris, when we discovered ORIGINeyes. We saw them again this year in Milan and we can only say that ORIGINeyes is going great guns! Market response to its wood eyewear has been better than excellent. It’s a good example that there are businesses and entrepreneurs capable of getting the economy moving despite the economic crisis. Still, success never comes alone: you have to work hard to get it, and that's what the ORIGINeyes team is doing.

    For 2013, ORIGINeyes brings us many new features: Many new wood and buffalo horn eyewear models, a new logo (image below) and they will soon have a new website.
