Frequently Asked Questions
Return policy
- Can I return my glasses?
Yes. We know that choosing glasses is an important decision, which is why you have 14 calendar days from delivery to request a return for eligible products.
The only exception is glasses with custom or prescription lenses. Each pair is manufactured exclusively for you, following your measurements and optical needs, through a specialised process that cannot be reversed or reused. For this reason, they cannot be returned once they have been produced.
For items that can be returned, you can manage the request from your customer area. Upon confirming the return, you will receive an email with all the instructions and the return address.
Please note that the return label is only intended to identify your package upon arrival at our optical laboratory; it is not a prepaid shipping label. You will need to arrange the shipment with the courier of your choice and cover the shipping cost. We recommend using a tracked service, keeping the proof of shipment and packaging the product carefully, including all official accessories and the return reference.
Our team will personally review your return to help you as soon as possible and ensure a clear, safe, and transparent experience.
- Where do I have to send my return?
Once you request a return through your customer account, you will immediately receive an email with the exact return address and all the steps to follow.
By default, returns are processed at our logistics centre in Spain, where we carry out all optical and quality checks.
If your order was delivered in the United Kingdom, we will provide you with a local return address to make the process quicker and more convenient.
- Will I be refunded the full amount?
Yes, provided you return your order within 14 days of delivery and it meets the conditions set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the purchase and within a maximum of 14 days. In some cases, we may wait to receive the returned item or proof of shipment before processing the refund, in order to ensure a secure and reliable procedure.
We want the return process to be clear and transparent, so here are the key points to keep in mind:
Personalised products, such as glasses with prescription lenses or custom fittings, cannot be returned once manufactured.
Sealed items must remain in their original, unopened condition to be accepted.
If the return arrives incomplete, damaged due to handling, or the package is empty, we will unfortunately be unable to issue a refund.
For returns sent from outside the European Union, customs duties may apply. If these have not been paid in advance, the amount will be deducted from the refund.
If you refuse delivery or the order cannot be delivered, it will be treated as a withdrawal. We will refund the product price, deducting the applicable return and handling fees (up to €30 within the EU and €58.99 outside the EU).
Each return is carefully inspected by our team to ensure accurate, organised and fully transparent handling. Our goal is to make sure that, even when something doesn’t go as expected, your experience remains as professional and reliable as you deserve.
- Slightly misaligned temples
It’s completely normal for some frames to require a minor adjustment when first received. Every face is different, and in some cases the temples may need a small tweak to ensure the glasses sit perfectly balanced.
This type of adjustment is quick and simple for any local optician, who can realign the temples in just a few minutes.
Choosing your glasses
- How can I find my perfect glasses?
It’s easy. At Blickers, you can use advanced filters by brand, shape, size, colour and style to quickly find the glasses that suit you best.
We’ve designed our browsing experience to help you discover, in a fast and intuitive way, the frames that complement your features, lifestyle and personal style.
- Can I try the glasses on virtually?
Absolutely! With our Virtual Try-On feature, you can see how the glasses look on you in real time before making a purchase. All you need is your phone or computer camera.
You’ll get a highly realistic preview of how the frames suit you, helping you choose with confidence.
The tool is fast, easy to use and designed to help you decide comfortably from home.
- Does my prescription affect the frame I should choose?
In general, most frames can accommodate most prescriptions.
If you have a higher prescription (especially above ±4 dioptres), we recommend choosing thinner lenses to improve optical performance and achieve a lighter, more aesthetic result.
At Blickers, we help you select the most suitable lens thickness for your prescription and preferred frame, always aiming for comfort and visual harmony.
- What if my glasses don’t fit?
No worries. If, once you receive them, they’re not what you expected, you can request a return within 14 days of delivery.
As long as the product meets our return conditions, we’ll process the refund using the original payment method.
Please note that glasses with customised or prescription lenses cannot be returned, as they are made specifically for you and cannot be reused.
- Do glasses need adjusting?
At Blickers, we send your glasses as well adjusted as possible and ready to wear. However, every face is different, and it’s completely normal to need a small adjustment so they fit perfectly around your face, nose and ears.
A proper adjustment not only improves comfort, but also helps ensure optimal optical performance. If needed, any local optician can adjust them for you in just a few minutes.
- What if I have allergies or light sensitivity?
If you’re allergic to certain materials, we recommend choosing frames made from acetate or titanium, as both are hypoallergenic and generally very well tolerated.
If you experience photophobia or light sensitivity, sunglasses with polarised lenses or category 4 filters (the darkest option available) are usually the best choice.
If you need help selecting the right option, we’ll be happy to advise you.

Lenses
- Can I order lenses without prescription values?
Yes, of course. You can order your eyeglasses without prescription, perfect as a fashion accessory or simply to complete your style.
Even without prescription, you can still add different types of lenses designed for everyday use: blue light filter lenses for screens, premium clear lenses, or photochromic lenses that darken in sunlight.
Just click on “Add prescription lenses” and select the option “Non-prescription lenses” to customize them as you prefer.
- What are the types of lenses you offer?
We offer single-vision distance glasses and single-vision reading glasses only. Please note that we do not currently offer progressive/varifocal/multifocal/bifocal lenses or lenses that include prism values. If you are unsure as to which type of lenses you need, we recommend getting in touch with your optician first, in order to confirm this with them.
- Can I order just a frame?
Yes, of course. You can order the frame only and then visit your optician to have the lenses fitted according to your needs.
Please note that if you purchase a frame without custom lenses, you will receive it with demonstration lenses (also known as demo lenses). These lenses are not intended for everyday use; they are only included to show the shape and design of the frame.
- What qualities do the Blickers glasses have?
All lens orders filled by Blickers are made with lenses made from organic glass, which is the standard for most lenses used today. These lenses are known for their lightweight feel and exceptional durability, making them resistant to breakage. They are sourced from top manufacturers, such as Hoya (Japan) or Essilor (France). Our qualified opticians will choose the most suitable lenses for your lens selection.
- What information do I need to order my prescription glasses?
To complete your order for prescription glasses, you simply need to enter the same values that appear on your prescription. On each field of the website you will find an information icon explaining where to locate each value on your prescription.
The fields we will ask you for are:
• Sphere (SPH)
You will find the sphere value on your prescription. It is usually abbreviated as SPH.• Cylinder (CYL)
You will find the cylinder value on your prescription. It is usually abbreviated as CYL.
If no value appears on your prescription, simply leave this field empty.• Axis (AXIS)
You will find the axis value on your prescription. It is usually abbreviated as AX.
This value is only required when there is a cylinder value.• Addition (ADD)

- What is my pupil distance?
Pupillary distance (PD) is the measurement in millimetres that indicates the distance between your pupils. It is essential for correctly centring prescription lenses.
Ideally, your optician should measure it for you. However, if that’s not possible, you can also find simple methods online to measure it yourself at home.
Blickers
- Who is Blickers?
Blickers was born from the pride of an optical craft that has been passed down from generation to generation. Today, from our operations centre in Reus, a team of more than 20 professionals works every day with the same commitment: fashion, optical precision, outstanding service and a simple, secure shopping experience.

Types of Sunglasses lenses
- What are Polarised sunglasses?
Polarised lenses eliminate reflected light from surfaces. For example, at the beach, a normal pair of sunglasses would eliminate the light directly coming from the sun, but not the light reflected from the sea, sand or other surfaces. A pair of polarised sunglasses will eliminate both, and thereby provides a higher definition of contrast, eliminating reflections. This makes them ideal for driving, fishing, sailing and winter sports. You can find our polarised sunglasses here.
- What are Mirrored sunglasses?
Mirrored sunglasses have a reflective optical coating on the outside of the lenses giving them a mirror-like appearance. This effect also makes it hard to see the wearer's eyes. You can find our mirrored sunglasses here.
- What are Gradient sunglasses?
Gradient sunglasses have lenses that vary in transparency from top to bottom. These lenses usually have a tint that is darker at the top and gradually lightens from top to bottom. You can find our gradient sunglasses here.
- What are Photochromic sunglasses?
Photochromic lenses are optical lenses that darken when exposed to light of sufficiently high frequency, most commonly ultraviolet radiation. The lenses return to their clear state in the absence of activating light. Sunglasses with these lenses are perfect for when drying or being outdoors in unpredictable weather. You can find our photochromic sunglasses here.
